Need Wood or Siding Replaced?

Getting a house ready to paint sometimes means replacing rotten trim and siding first. Guy Painting replaces damaged and rotten wood and siding before we paint your home's exterior — because doing it right is what makes your paint job last.

And it will give you that updated look you've always wanted for your home.

We can replace a single board or a full section — you don't have to re-side the whole house to fix the parts that failed.

From a Homeowner

Homeowner Testimonial

We love that Guy Painting used the early spring to get the woodwork done on the house. They were ready to paint as soon as the weather broke. Everyone at Guy Painting was super professional. We started with a great estimate with Ron, who pointed out things no one else did, then his carpenters came when they said and cleaned up after themselves. Lastly, the painters did a thorough prep and paint job. We could not be happier with the experience and the end result — our house looks amazing! When you hire someone to work on your home, sometimes you sign and cross your fingers. We never felt that way, and we're so glad we chose Guy Painting!

How We Quote It

You'll See Every Board We Plan to Replace

As part of your free painting quote, our painting expert surveys (performs a visual inspection of) your house to find any wood that needs repair before painting. We'll show you the rot in person — then build a detailed Wood Replacement Sheet mapping the location of every board that needs replacing, with photos of each area.

Before work begins, our carpenters perform a second hands-on inspection, carefully reviewing every area we identified while also checking the rest of your home's exterior for any hidden wood rot or damage. This extra step helps ensure nothing is overlooked.

How Siding Replacement Works

1

Carpenter Assessment

Before any siding work begins, one of our skilled carpenters comes out to assess exactly what needs replacing.

2

Pre-Primed, Matched Siding

All wood we install is pre-primed — ready for weather from day one — and matched to your home's existing material so it blends in seamlessly.

3

Power Wash, Prep & Paint

Once carpentry is done, our painters power wash the existing siding, complete full prep, and paint. Our Quality Managers monitor from start to finish.
